The Power of Group Training

After years of relative isolation, rebuilding social connections is vital for you and your health. Enhancing social connectedness can significantly improve quality of life, boost health and well-being, elevate mood and happiness, increase longevity, and even enhance cognitive and physical performance (Denworth 2020). Engaging with others has always been important, but now more than ever it is relevant to your overall health and wellbeing.

Social neuroscience researchers are finding that increased connectedness benefits us by stimulating neuroplasticity, the rewiring of your brain cells. Greater neuroplasticity improves cognitive and physical performance as well as overall health (Gupta 2007; Levintin 2020).

As well, increased physical exercise increases brain function. There is a synergistic relationship between activity of the mind and body. Our brains love socialization, and as humans we benefit both cognitively and physically from exercising with others.

Group fitness training can give both health and fitness gains in a positive and uplifting environment. The value of training in a group environment is endless. Group training provides accountability, motivation, coaching, support, and security. All you need to do is register for the group session and the rest is taken care of for you.
